RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND WARRANTY POLICY

1. SUPPLIER IDENTITY
This document governs the returns and refunds applicable to purchases made through the website www.mugen.mx(the “Website”), operated by OGA OKA, doing business as (“d/b/a”) Interior Market, marketing products under the MUGEN brand.
2. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
By placing an order on the Website, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and expressly agreed to this Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms an integral part of the Website’s Terms and Conditions.
3. NATURE OF THE PRODUCTS
Products sold by MUGEN are physical furniture goods, including sofas and related items, which:

Are intended for household use

May be bulky and of high value

Feature removable covers
-
Have a structure composed entirely of foam
Due to their nature, not all products are eligible for return or exchange.
4. DEFECT NOTIFICATION PERIODS
The customer must inspect the product upon delivery and prior to use, and report any issues within the following timeframes:
a) Visible damage caused during transportation:
Within forty-eight (48) calendar hours following delivery.
b) Apparent or readily detectable defects:
Within seven (7) calendar days from receipt of the product.
“Apparent defects” are those that can reasonably be identified through an initial visual or tactile inspection without prolonged use.
After these periods, the product shall be deemed accepted in satisfactory condition, and any visible or apparent defects will no longer be eligible for claims.
This does not limit the application of the warranty solely with respect to hidden or structural defects, subject to the terms set forth in the Warranty Policy.
5. PRODUCT INSPECTION, USE, AND HANDLING
The customer is required to inspect the product before use, installation, or final placement.
Any use, assembly, placement, removal of covers, handling of foam, or prolonged use of the product shall constitute express acceptance, which may limit or exclude eligibility for return, exchange, or refund.
6. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
Returns, replacements, or alternative remedies will only be accepted in the case of verifiable manufacturing defects, provided that:

The request is submitted within the applicable timeframe

The product has not been used, altered, or handled

Sufficient evidence is provided for evaluation
MUGEN reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy, including repair, replacement, or refund.
7. SHIPPING DAMAGE
In the event of shipping damage:

The customer must note the issue with the carrier at the time of delivery

The customer must notify MUGEN at info@theinteriormarket.com and provide supporting evidence
Failure to notify within the established timeframe may affect the validity of the claim.
8. REMOVABLE COVERS AND MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
MUGEN sofas feature removable covers and foam structures.
Material-related variations such as:

Natural foam adaptation

Perceived firmness or softness
-
Minor wrinkles in covers
-
Adjustments during initial use
Are not considered manufacturing defects, but rather normal product characteristics.
9. EXCLUSION FOR SUBJECTIVE EXPECTATIONS
Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be accepted based on:

Personal or subjective expectations

Individual perceptions of comfort or firmness

Differences between the received product and the customer’s expectations

Aesthetic preferences or user experience
Images, descriptions, and specifications on the Website are for reference only and may include minor variations that do not affect functionality or quality.
10. CUSTOM OR NON-CATALOG PRODUCTS
Products specifically requested by the customer that are not part of the online catalog, and which have been custom-made, adapted, or specially sourced:
Are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances.
Acceptance of a quote, order confirmation, and/or payment constitutes express agreement to this condition.
11. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

Used, handled, or altered products

Products with removed and used covers

Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper installation

Normal wear and tear

Discounted, clearance, or promotional items

Change-of-mind purchases
12. RETURN COSTS
For valid returns attributable to MUGEN, the appropriate resolution will be determined.
In all other cases, shipping, pickup, and logistics costs shall be borne by the customer.
13. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Once an order has been confirmed, cancellations or changes will not be accepted, except as expressly provided in this policy.
14. DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location has adequate access, dimensions, elevators, stairways, and required permits.
If delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related issues, additional costs may apply.
15. REFUNDS
Where a refund is applicable:

It will be issued using the original payment method

MUGEN is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or third-party payment platforms
16. EVALUATION AND FINAL DECISION
All requests will be evaluated in accordance with this policy.
Final determination shall be made by MUGEN, without prejudice to non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

WARRANTY POLICY

1. WARRANTOR IDENTITY
This Warranty Policy applies to products sold on www.mugen.mx (the “Website”), operated by OGA OKA, d/b/a Interior Market, under the MUGEN brand.
2. SCOPE OF WARRANTY
MUGEN warrants that its products are free from manufacturing defects under normal household use, in accordance with this policy.
This warranty does not constitute a right of return, but rather a protection mechanism against defects solely attributable to the manufacturing process.
3. WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty applies exclusively to hidden or structural manufacturing defects not reasonably detectable at the time of delivery or during the initial inspection period.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Internal foam structure: six (6) months from delivery date

Removable covers: three (3) months, only for stitching or manufacturing defects not detectable upon initial inspection
The warranty does not apply to issues that:

Were visible or detectable upon delivery

Should have been reported under the Returns Policy

Result from normal use, subjective perception, or wear
The warranty period begins on the delivery date.
4. CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS
To qualify:

6. PRODUCT EXPECTATIONS
The following are not considered defects:

7. CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Custom or non-catalog products:

Do not carry extended warranty

Are only covered for initial evident manufacturing defects, evaluated case-by-case

9. AVAILABLE REMEDIES

The warranty does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
10. ASSOCIATED COSTS
If the defect is attributable to MUGEN, coverage will be determined.
If not covered, logistical or inspection costs may be charged to the customer.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
MUGEN’s liability is limited strictly to what is stated herein.
Under no circumstances shall MUGEN be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of use.
12. NON-TRANSFERABILITY
This warranty is personal and non-transferable, and applies only to the original purchaser.
13. MODIFICATIONS
MUGEN may modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon publication.
14. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
